HFSX4.11 install.
RELATIVELY SIMPLE MAP INSTALL - FOLLOWED DIRECTIONS ...BUT PUT THE MISSION FOLDER IN SINGLE/NAVY/f-9F FOLDER ALREADY THERE. Careful with placement of new all ini & static lines.
I am really looking forward to this map & mission. So i started sim immediately.started mission...at 0% loaded I got a CY6_North Korea/load_MLR ini loading error. I get this kind of message every once in a while & usuallyif I try it again it will work...Loading got up to 23% & had an immediate CTD. So I tried every possibility - went back to check if entries were in all ini & static files - they were....dito map folder for this map.did an uninstall & fresh install, same result. Maybe I missed something or perhaps in my install I have a conflict of which I am not aware.
have not tried to use map in FMB...just really want to fly the Tokori single mission for now... :???:

There was a problem with the 1.1 download, so you might try the newest version (1.2) if you haven't already.

I have ultrapak mod 2.01 installed and tried the F9F mission but kept getting a memory error.

The solution was to have all the planes start in the air using the FMB. The mission was quite
wonderful and so was the map!

Thank you.

Now I just have to figure out what is going on with the carrier mod.

I have the "CatapultBoost 1" set in the mod section of the mission - that might be your trouble...

Haven't tested it with UI. Try the static.ini checker to find out which objects you're missing. Try dl'ing LAL_R-One's fortification pack if you don't have it, that's probably the problem...

Greetings

Firstly many thanks to you for all the hard work you must have put into this project, I have recently published a campaign (The Korean Files) using earlier versions of yourmap. I know its a bit late in the day but startd testing the new mig 15 mini campaign which only runson your latest version.

The summer maps load fine but I cannot get the winter maps to load at all, question: 1) what additional objects are required as I cant save missions on any of your latest versions, 2) any idea why thewinter maps wont load.

Using HSFX 4.1 for your reference. Iapologise in advance for troubling you and your advice will be much appreciated.

Keep up the good work!

Best regards

If you have HSFX 4.1 you should have all the objects needed to save the map. Check your log.lst to see what is going wrong with the winter maps. It might be that you're missing a texture, though I'm not sure why - everything should be included.

Try using the .static checker utility (available somewhere around here I think) to see which objects you might be missing from the map. If you are missing something, it's probably from the fortifications or egypt packs.

If all else fails you might try a clean install of the map. If you're installing over older versions it might cause problems.

Good luck,

CY6.
