How do I set the default field of view ? At the moment I have to decrease the FOV when the game starts which I am tired of doing.

I just us the toogle fov button. I assigned it to a button on my stick that way I can zoom in and out without moving my hands from my hotas. That in conjuntion with trackir makes for very good situation awarness.

Crix has made some packages which change the POV in some aircraft, downside is it over writes any recticles you have for it.
