bigbossmalone Wrote:Uberdood, as far as I know, you shouldn't have a 3do folder in your STD folder.
Unless this is a new development with UI 1.2, which I don't have, the STD folder is only supposed to have a 'com' and 'i18n' folder inside, in which you find the air.ini, plane_ru.properties and weapons_ru.properties files.

New planes themselves are normally placed in their own folder inside Mods folder, in which you find their associated 3do folders.
Example: F84G. The F84G folder goes in Mods, and file structure would be: IL2/MODS/F84G/3do....
STD is normally only for the relevant ini/properties entries to be made for the plane to show up ingame.
Hope this explains it...
bigbossmalone Wrote:I have another install where I took the ToW folders, and put them inside their own folder, just to keep the STD folder clean.
That works just as well.
It's a matter of personal choice, I suppose. I just prefer to keep the STD folder reserved for the new plane entries.
