Saitek X-52 Throttle Trouble
#1

My throttle doesn't cut back to 0% power when pulled all the way back. I think there's an issue with the mechanical pressure switch at the aft end, but whatever it is, min power setting reads 8-10%. Does anyone have a fix for this? It's making roll out from a standstill kind of annoying as I have to stand on the brakes to keep the a/c from moving.

This might not help, but wont hurt to try it.

My X-45 does that every once in a while, I just reload the drivers and its back to normal.

I have anX52 also and sometimes that will hapen to me. I usually cycle the throttle from stop to stop a few times and then it's good to go. But, I would also talk with the tech help a Saitek.

I have the same problems, I just pull the throttle harder and it works without any problems.

I've had quite a few similar issues with my x52. Using a powered usb hub through a 2.0 socket seems to have done wonders for me and has solved allot of other little bugs I've had with it too.

Quick fix: when it does it - try going back to desktop (can leave IL2 running), put the joystick usb out - plug it back in (recalibrates it), go to control panel/game controllers/X52 - properties - move the throttle back and forward....better?... resume flight.

A list of everything I tried can be found here: http://www.kiwisim.net.nz/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=4488

Good luck mate

Hi, yes the X-52 in't tamed yet. Mine sometimes keeps the display on while teh PC is off and the next time everything is ok. I've found that re-installing the driver makes it return to its 'normal state'.
