QUESTION: WHAT IS THE STEPS FOR A SIMPLE WAY TO GET MODS working to 4.09. :oops: (I installed orginal il2 1946 DVD then patched to 4.08 then to 4.09. No problems. NOW I would like to try Mods only if it doesn't muck up my previous install.) PLEASE CAN SOMEONE PUT IN SIMPLE STEPS THE LATEST INFO ON INSTALLING MODS TO 4.09. :???: :roll: (Simple explain il21946 DVD retail pack to 4.09+mods PLEASE! ) PLEASE HELP! :!:

Hello, I am a bit slow and confused sorry folks bare with me!
I down loaded all parts as suggested for the ULTRAPACK but the RAR file UP_18_full.part01 is corrupted as when I go to open I get file message corrupted and this :

CRC failed in UP_18_full\fb_hfx3do05.sfs
Unexpected end of archive :x

I tried a few different places still get the same from this file. What to do now? I can't continue and who knows perhaps the other RAR files are corrupt. :roll:

its actually rather simple
1. DL and install SAS mod activator.
2. run unis 1.1-2 in a desk top folder.
3. copy contents of Uni mods in to, not replacing, mods folder clicking NO for all replacement prompts
4.do same for other foders. take 409 ac info from SAS air.ini etc., and put in AAA air.ini etc.
5. move 4.09'ed air.ini Etc. int to there places in std folder.

that should work. you wont have new maps untill next uni, but wou will have default, 4.09, and uni ac. also at http://specialaircraftservice.com/main/index.php, thay have flyable mods for 4.09 ac.
