My PC crashed

yesterday my PC crashed i get this bleu screen with the code 0x0000007E..
i cant start the pc up.
i cant start in safe mode or any mode.still getting this blue screen
is there a fix or tip to help me out.

this haqpponed to my sister in her office. I think its couse of a virus. i dont know any solutions (my sis just got a new comp for $150 .)

Had a quick look on the web.

This issue might occur if a system thread generates an exception that the error handler does not catch. This exception can be caused by any of the following:
If this issue occurs after the first restart during Windows Setup or after Setup is complete, the computer might not have sufficient hard disk space to run Windows XP.
The computer BIOS might be incompatible with Windows XP, or it might have to be updated.
The video adapter drivers might be incompatible with Windows XP.
A device driver or a system service might be damaged.
If the issue is associated with the Win32k.sys file, it might be caused by a third-party remote control program.

Have you tried to reinstall windows?
I think there is an option to repair windows from the disc.

yes i have treid
to repair the pc with a windows xp cd but it wanted start up the cd.

Press canc on start up your pc , enter in bios feature , select FIRST BOOT = CD , save and exit , reboot your pc whit windows xp cd in , follow the procedures .

check the age of the biscuit battery that supplies power to your cmos chip, It is the only battery on your motherboard. When they get weak it can cause some strange problems and go to bios and tell computer to boot to whatever letter you use for your CD/DVD drive so you cann boot from windows installation disc.. Some systems require that you press delete during boot up to enter the bios.

well lm affraid that i lost all of me files and the game d*mn

have to install it all over again.

get this program and burn it to disk and you should be able to retrieve all your files, put the disk in the CD drive and the computer will boot into this OS and you can copy all your files and then reload windows

now i have figger out how to boot this cd first.when startup.
for some raeson i can't to start up with a defined ""first to boot device" in bios.

who makes you computer? when u turn it on try hitting the DEL key and/or F1 if that does not work try F2 and/or F12

well first me pc is not repared yet

and i can go in bios when i press DEL.
but can't start up the pc in any of the safe mode configurration. or to sine a driver that first starts when boot up.
but i now i guy who repairs pc's. so give him a call next week.
i wanted to call the guy sooner. but my youngest doughter was it be the mexicanflu this week. lucky it was the milt form.
she is much better now.

are you saying it skips the CD-ROM and goes straight to the HD on bootup?
