The experts here would know how to do it, because I have downloaded countless mods from this site that are self extracting.. as opposed to just unzip and copy manually over.

I think I 'sort of' know how to do it..
but I dont know winrar well enough to know what all the options mean..
Perhaps someone could tell me what archiving options to check, what options to 'uncheck',.. when creating a normal archive.
(I just downloaded il-2 update 4.09 that just came out.. and I just fell in love with this self extract stuff)

I was just wondering how does the program know where my Il-2 folder is, (in order to extract the files there)??
My Il-2 is not in the default Program files directory... it's in the C:\soft\ folder, but somehow Winrar self extract always knows where my Il-2 is, shows it when i'm about to install a new mod.
