Weird texture problem
#1

Hey there. I'm getting more and more into effects for IL2.

Well I've based my mod on Flushmeister's clouds replacement.
There are 3 textures that are replacing in-game clouds ( the big one's above land ). I've replaced them with my own.
Now the problem is that the clouds are completely transparent and I can't see new clouds, but if I replace them with Flushy's textures, it works like a charm.
Alpha channels, formats, sizes, everything is fine that's why I'm asking for help.
Here's Flushy's mod:

And here are my textures:

Please if you would be so kind, try to help me figuring out what's wrong with them, because I ran out of ideas, and failing at this, won't help me working on my damage effects for aircraft.

Hi!

I think your problem is that your texture is compressed somehow! I don't know which program you used to make your texture but
your texture is (clouds4x4.tga) is 2,54 MB but if you check Flushy's textures it is 4,00 MB in size so you have to control your file compression options
and save your texture as non compressed one!

Well I've used gimp.
When I was saving it as .tga I have choosen to not to RLE compress it.

As I said your file is compressed somehow, all other texture files with 1024x1024 resolution in game are 4.00 MB in size.

Thanks a lot mate, It works. However it is kinda too heavy since it was used as smokegrenade texture.
I'd try to see what I can do, hopefully we'll see a relase.
