I will continue seeding HSFX 4.1 from my uTorrent to peers getting the download.
My seeded download of 4.1 reached 1 to 2 MB per second of download speed with a peek of about 5 MB per second! For those who don't know, this is very fast downloading speed. The uTorrent is designed so you can help others by sharing, called "seeding". You become a seed once you get all the parts of the download. As you are getting the parts of the download, you are a peer.
A bunch of people can make this very efficient. With seeding, there is no more competing for the same thread or mirror which slows everyone's download time. However, more people only speed the distribution if peers in a swarm have fast data transfer rates. Having fast transfer and wide bandwidth allows the seed to upload to peers very quickly. I, as a seed, can upload upto 5 MB per second per peer.
If your internet connection allows only slow downloading, then this will not help you get fast downloads from a fast seed. You can only get what your connection speed will allow.
A nice sized group results in a bunch of people having very fast downloading in overlapping fashion at the same time if all have fast data transfer rates. If you have fairly slow download speed, then keep your uTorrent connected to eventually get it. When people connect into the Torrent, the seeding will excellerate among those who have fast transfer rates. A greater number of peers, called a swarm, will increase the number of available parts of the HSFX 4.1 downloads, increasing the possibility that the part which you need will be sent to you sooner.
Remember that this system is constructed to encourage sharing of seeds and discourage individual efforts. Loners will often, though not all the time, get slower download speeds. Swarms-when many people get the clue and are connected at the same time, causes massive seeding and fast downloading, uploading, and seeding (For all those who have connections that allow fast downloading).
Some people say they are getting the whole download in a couple minutes or less than 1 minute. Mine took about 5 minutes. The seeding is the system of seeds (those who have the complete download) who share the parts of the download that someone else needs, without writing too technical here. Peers who are missing various parts of the download get what they need while at the same time giving to other peers what is needed by those peers. By helping others get what they need, you get what you need faster. Clever, huh?
