#1

Hello friends, I have three versions of IL2 install in my pc, I try to do, but it is not working.

And is it also possible to sub versions, Ex, European Theater, Pacific Theater, Middle East Theater and Korean Theater

If any of you know how to do it and would like to explain, it helped really.

Thank you for your help.

unclear as to what it is you are trying to do.
However any version can be copied or made as long as you have the disk space and a clean version of 407 or what ever it is you want just copy and paste it to your hard drive location. It will call it self il2 copy of or copy 2 , 3 or what ever number you need.
If you are trying to create multiple copies from a disk that is a bit more difficult because you need to fool the computer into thinking that you have no copies already on the hard drive. This can be done by removing the ubisoft folder and renaming it so the computer does not see it. I just called mine X and put it on my desktop. Then open the disk and activatint the install.exe to get a clean install of the disk, make multiple copies by copy/ paste and then upgrade each copy seperatly as to how you want it.

Thank you for your help.

Can I put all the copy on the hard drive of my computer and each copy of it may have are own launcher IL2fb.

Do I have to rename each of these launchers IL2fb?

Or I should uninstall the version I used before, use in another?

Just go into the main folder for each install and find the il2fb.exe and send it to your desktop (create shortcut). Each .exe will work only for it's own installation of the game. I currently have three desktop shortcuts to different installations of Il2.

You should install 4.08 before copying it as I haven't seen 4.07 servers anymore and you don't have to install the patch many times.

Here's my comment on this matter from another thread:

I have a lot of installations. I just make a desktop shortcut to the il2fb.exe of each....then a simple click loads that version. they all work fine.

and BACKUp versions...If I am told that a new MOD package requires a baseline of 4.08m, or 4.09m...or other, I simply apply the new MOD package to the appropriate base in my backup folder, then simply name and place that new "installation' in my root D:\ drive as shown above.

Someday I hope I can return to having just one version, most likely UP2.0 (patched as time goes by). Maybe just keepthe single baseline 4.08m version, just in case.
