Okay, I have a problem with I think a smoke effect in HSFX 4.1 and 4.11.
It looks like some smoke conflict, and only occurs when I enable the Effects High option. In the Low version this doesn't appear.
If you look at the video below, you will see the smoke effect from gun tracer (only seen it with Axis aircraft) creates a strange zig-zag smoke effect which looks awful.
It's easier to view the video below than it is to explain what it looks like.
