Hello everyone,

I have a problem when playing a campaign - after a while it crashes to desktop.
I tried to reinstall the video drivers but problems remains. All drivers seems works fine and all updated.
My graphic card is NVIDIA Geforce 8400 M GS.

This problem never happens before - Pacific Fighters standalone 4.04.

I though that mayby IŁ Manager caused that (to high graphic settings) but no.

I'm using Paul Lowengrin's DCG 3.45 .

Have anyone have or had this problem??

Hello, and welcome to AAA!

Some guys are accidently pushing the Windows key, which will send anything on the screen to the task bar. Is this what you ment? Another possibility is overheating of your CPU, GPU, motherboard, or all of these.

By the way, have you considered getting the IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 and adding a mod pack to it? There are amazing new Pacific maps and many added planes. You can fly them, too! Also, there are new Pacific ships and catapult launch from carriers.

Also, in a few weeks or months, the IL-2 Sturmovik 4.10m (official) will be released with the "Slot Map", which includes the whole group of islands in that region. There is the B-29 Alley map which will include a bunch of Japanese islands, including the Southern Main Island. Much more is to come.

Anyway, things to consider. I'll be watching your topic to see if I can be of more help in the future.

Heh , i'm not a completely lamer it crashed because of not my fault....


This NEVER happens before. I'm using DCG 3.45 mayby it works bad.

I was vieving other forums and post there to and the problem is well known....

I tried to replace some dll but the games wont start....

It's strange -the mission is loading , all goes smoothly unless certain moment and then crash to desktop.

The error window says that i'm missing some updates of my Windows Vista - lol i have all already.

I even posted on NVIDIA forum - not help at all . I'm playing with IŁ Manager 2.0.

I reinstalled the game the drivers - problem remains. I understand a lag on mission (lot of object etc -just fine) but not a crash....all drivers updated - OS newly installed , no viruses etc . I have run of ideas.
