Pilot's goggles on or off
#1

Hi.

I just want to know if there is a way to decide if the pilot will wear his goggles on his forehead or over his eyes.

In my situation, I chose a pilot skin where goggles are already painted on the pilot's face, wich means that in some situations, he will look like have two pairs of goggles. One over the eyes and another one on his forehead...

It is ideal for me to have my pilot wear his goggles over his eyes, because the facepaint goggles + classic goggles do combine pretty good.

I heard of mesh files but dont really know what they are or how to use them...

Thx for giving me clues

Their isn't such form of mod which allows you to do this unfortunately.

Also I've moved this thread to the correct area.

I noticed with HSFX that some German pilots now have their goggles over their eyes. I had hoped that would be the case for all pilots but alas, it is not so. That tells me there is somebody out there that managed it with some pilots so I don't see why it can't be done for all pilots.

Dear US_GRANT, there is a file tipe ".msh" called "Head_D0" that you can put inside your Mods folder, inside "Skinmod-3do-plane-xxxx" for example or wherever you find a folder 3do-plane-xxxx there is a type that change the head profile erasing the bulge tipical of russian helmets, another that erase the goggles, another for both.. The problem is to find the link where are this agreable files.
I have this files in my archives, if you want I will send to you. Look for personal message.

Thx for placing me in the correct thread.

So it's not that easy to have your pilot wear the goggles. It's not a matter of altitude or speed... Well I guess I now need to find the right plane to enjoy my pilot's skin...
