hi guys, i am experiencing some minor stuttering in IL2... could someone show me the best g-card set up. I have a 9800GT. also, whats the best driver for running IL2?

This is centered on PC issues so I moved your topic from the IL-2 Technical Help Topic to this PC Technical Help Topic.
At least an occasional period of stuttering happens with every 9800GT.
Which driver to use is really a matter of trial and error with IL-2, since there are so many factors which effect graphics. Even the same model graphics card of two people could get different results with various graphics setttings. Also, a model of graphics card can be changed a small amount with time as the manufacturer tries to make improvements. A 9800GT late model might have a significant difference over one of them in the first production run. Some users say that the best drivers for IL-2 are those from about 2008-2009, but you'll have to roll through a few to find the exact match for you.
Guys in my online squadron who have run the 9800GT have said that they run IL-2 with OpenGL and Perfect Water, though other settings might need to be reduced to get Perfect Water.
