Tiger_33 Ultimate Sound Mod
#31

I ran into an issue with this. I installed it no problem into JSGME and it works fine ONLINE, but when I try to use it offline, it causes my plane to explode on the runway. Has anyone else run into this?

I tried a number of planes, but mainly the P-51, P-38, P-47. It happened in QMB also, which is strange because when I first installed the mod, I tested it in QMB with the Scramble mission option and everything was fine.

Need Help..... I've tried everyone's recommedations on this blog and cannot get Tigers sound mod to work. Plus, everyone keeps saying to read the readme file. When I download the file, it does not have a readme file in it that I can find. Could some please post the readme file here or direct me on how I can get it from the file. Many thanks for the help.

1/clean 4.09 install (if you are not clean, ther's a high probability of conflict with other mods)

2/HSFX or UP, up to HSFX4.1 or UP2.01 -and nothing more-

Quote:For those who are still interested in this (imho) masterpiece from Tiger33,

here is an "up to date" version to use with jsgme (jsgme is included in UP2.0, HSFX)

http://www.filefront.com/15773421/TigersUV2forUP20n.7z/

copy the jsgmemods folder in your main IL2 folder

And, for the latest UP2.01, apply this patch (same procedure)

http://www.filefront.com/16153141/UV2_201patch.zip/

Then, enable/disable the soundmod with jsgme, it is called "ZUV2"

If you don't want it any more in your IL2 install, disable it via jsgme, then erase ZUV2 folder from jsgmemods.

Enjoy (hopefully)

The new flyby sounds are nice

But they don't allways work

The neat thing is you can disable just the fly by sounds and keep the rest by disabling the fly by sounds with the '-'

I actually quite like the fly-by's and haven't had any issues with it since using the HSFX version. That said, the fact that they are pre-recorded means the effect isn't quite the same when you turn the kite around, and fly back towards the camera to hear........silence. If this could be changed I would a happy guy Tongue

Hi
I have been testing this sound mod and it is quite a nice add on for immersiveness.
I have experienced 1 specific issue : when moving from external to front view, it will
open F1 view in a mid zoom position, and not in the wide view I had it when in external.
This is a bit of a problem during combat.
Any info on this?
