New Template for P-26 Peashooter
#1

Here's another new template made for one the newer additions to the game, the P-26 Peashooter a very vivacious and feisty plane to fly around in.

I've included markings for early US, Nationalist Chinese, Philippine and Spanish Republican versions and a few numbers and a camo layer as well as metallic layers taken from nightshifter's metal skin template. This should make for a nice set of possibilities for skinning.

There are one or two issues that seem to be irresolvable though: the front aileron/flaps are the same color for both upper and lower wing surfaces. So if you use an undercolor in the template, the upper wing aileron will be the same color as under, not the top wing. Which means it doesn't look particularly well or realistic. Perhaps there is a way around this, but if so I haven't found it.

There is also an issue with the rear elevators. Here too it seems it is not possible to differentiate between upper and lower colors. When you color the area for the rear elevators, it's the same for top and under.

Sure take all the credit you wish ... I can´t remember exactly how I started on the template. I think I started from a void and made my own lines and rivets and shadows and dirt and stuff ... otherwise I wouldn´t have dared call it a template ...

But apart from that I did use other skins as guides for where to place markings and such ...

Other than that I suppose you are correct ... so the credit is yours. I wouldn´t be able to even make a skin let alone a template unless it was based on prior work. Wouldn´t know where to begin except from a void ... and I do know that I couldn´t find a template of this aircraft anywhere so I decided to make one myself ...

But do notice that I didn´t sign the template ... I don´t really care about credits and such ...

Anyway sorry for the omission or oversight ...
