Can you post the link to the core program in the first post and a brief explanation?

Hi,

I use an older P4 3GHZ Prescott with HyperThreading - can the Processor Affinity setting be utilised with these CPU's ??

I know its not truly a dual core CPU but its close !!

It's not really going to do anything for you I'm afraid.
Processor affinity is a way to take advantage of extra cores by assigning programs to a specific core.

Radpig,

Usually the preferred setting for dual core is: ProcessAffinityMask=2

This command line in the conf.ini file causes your system to favor running in the second core. Since your Operating System and some programs tend to run in the first core, this is the reason for setting it to the second core for IL-2. Your Operating System can still over ride this if it needs to do so, but most of the time, IL-2 will run in the second core with this setting. Obviously, this eliminates most of the competing for resources and makes IL-2 run better.
