Well well well, looks like CoD will be using Steam.

This is what mine looked like after I voted

Yes I have and like using Steam 221 56.52%
Yes I have and dont like using Steam 52 13.30%
No I do not have Steam but will for CoD 43 11.00%
No I do not have Steam and will not for CoD 75 19.18%

So it looks like they may go with steam, and plus that mean we can earn achievements :)

I just cant believe how many of you refuse to even consider the idea of using steam....how do you buy any of your games...there is no stores where i live, in central Florida, that carry pc games...Walmart is a joke, even Gamestop discontinued carring pc games...I happen to love Steam...you get so many features with it...including instant messaging, i can instantly jump into anygame my friends are playing...and I mean if they are playing lets say, Battlefield;Bad Company2 multiplayer, steam will put me not only in their game, but on their team. You get a sneak look at all the new games coming out..special deals some weekends on buying games...WTF...only ppl complaining are those of you that dont play anything but IL-2...face the facts...Maddox wants to sell more then to just you, and steam is the best, not one of the best, but The Best way to distribute pc games...I suggest you join steam, then add everyone here to your friends list and you'll be amazed at how easy it is to start and join multiplayer games...then a year from now you ppl wont know how you ever lived without it...I mean..lets face it..hyperlobby sucks.....just picture this, You come home from work, turn on your computer. As it boots up you get yourself a drink, take off your shoes. About that time steam has automaticly logged on and "BOOM", you get an instant message through steam. Its one of your flying mates saying there is some new squad kicking the hell out of everyone on the servers. With the click of one button you join the game and team your friends are on...Its that easy...Do yourself a favor and look at the calendar...its 2011...nobody uses retail stores to sell electronic products anymore...get out of the 1980s and download Steam today...Davis0079 is my steam id for those of you that live outside of IL-2.

Sorry, man, nothing personal here, but you do realise we are Steam users, well out of the '80s and still don't like Steam?
I'm sorry for your inconvenience, not to have any retail stores around your place, but "...Do yourself a favor and look at the calendar...its 2011..."
and order your games at @mazon.com, or any other retail seller.
I personally like my games on a disc and like to install and play them offline, whenever I want to. I don't need any Steam community, I don't need
those Friend options, sometimes I use 'em, true, but I can surely live without.
And no, I'm no homey with no outside contacts, I do play other games apart from Il-2 and I prefer to chat via TeamSpeak. 8)

But go on playing the missionary, good luck with it and have fun in ye olde Steam discussion. :wink:
