i have heard that if you can run Il2 on max settings then you should be able to run BOB on minimal - mid, DX 9 i think

That will probably kill sales of it. Too high specs normaly spell doom for alot of games. Most people can not afford to upgrade that much.
I only upgrade about every 4 years or so....... :x

It's new pc time, and no, I'm not rolling in money, but I have been saving for over a year now. I have children and a mortgage like most people, but I'm still going to get it whatever it's specs.....

Oleg said BoB would still use OpenGL, no D3D engine. That would mean there will still be a wrapper for Dx9, but OpenGL will still look and run better.

well my advise guys is, wait till it is finalised or even released before you part cash, i bought, a few months ago, a dual core amd 4200+ for my 939 (my motherboard, which was out of date shortly after purchase) direct x 10 is out and i dotn know many graphics cards that support it, so wait till the market floods with them, and you can pick a cheap decent 9x up and a reasonable 10x up.

The one we haven't got in game at the moment, and the one we really needed for our BoB scenarios.. Oleg started from a Mk Vb... I'll let you do a little 'googling' and I bet you come up with your answer in under 2 mins!
