Seems a few would like the idea of a sword fish... It got me thinking.... What about the following recipe?

Take 1 Gloster Gladiator MkII (three bladed prop)
Take 1 Polikarpov U2 (for external cockpit, gunner, and undercart)
Take 1 Polikarpov I-16 (for internal cockpit)
Take 1 Nakajima B5N2 FM/DM/WL (for torpedo carrying)

Use the Gladiator fuzz & wings, stretch the fuzz, remove the cockpit & undercart from 3d model, and replace with polikarpov U2/Po-2 cockpit & gunner position, and undercart. Then mix together with a splattering of Nakajima B5N2 FM/DM/WL, to allow the carrage of torpedo

End result should look something like this:

Take (anything with a tail hook, perhaps a Seafire?), take its tailhook add to the mix + a pinch of salt...

Sorry, mis-read what you said. Yes I suppose in hind sight this seems a little hypocritical.

I was bored rather this afternoon and it occured to me that one could almost achieve it...

*EDIT* BTW its not my line. Note I didnt suggest modding the FM/DM/WL - but using one that already exist and is rather inferior.

On the subject of tail hooks, could we stick one on the Hurricane or the Gladiator? Maybe replace the Hurri field mod version and the Glad MkI.

Adding a tail hook is not a big problem and has already been done. However, getting it to work requires modification to the flight model and so far in v4.08 this has not been done.
