Hi,

Is it possible to put the new maps in 4.09m(b) into a 4.08m installation? It would be great to get them up in FMB.

Try copying fb_3do19.SFS, fb_20.SFS & fb_maps15.SFS from the patch to your Il2 install dir, don't know if this will work and don't know why you would want to do this seeing as the beta patch is just new maps with some new objects for the new maps & some graphic tweaks.

The other beta patch is is just skins and you don't have to install it for the main beta patch to work.

I cant seem to be able to get Modde maps and new npas at the same time. Its one or teh other. not both. I just changed names on Manchuria and even that renders the new maps invisible in the FMB... If there would be a way to import the new maps to our 4.08 that would be grate. Objects and all.

Nore can I, new maps will not show up in FMB with sound mod enabled, but strangely if I make a mission on one of the new maps then quit the game and fire it back up with the sound mod and then play that mission the new maps loaded up fine???

You should read carefully this thread and install the patch 4.09bm compatible with the modded version

..And remember if you have LAL_RONE mod destructible obyect you have to erase its files in filelist at least from 4.8 to have new Slovakia etc.. 8)

Do as the two gents above me say and everything will work perfectly. Their info worked for me.
