Fellows from Aviaskins.com have expressed a following idea:
Implementation of this idea could help to overcome network protocol limitation of the game.
Namely, it would be possible to create an additional server to process additional data. Reconnaissance for example. Simply add a new command to make a snapshot and assign it a key. Then just fly over a target, catch it in the gunsight, press the key and voila - the data is kept in the cache. Upon successful landing this data is sent to an additional server and then is available to the players of the same army.
Another implementation is to have human gunners. Players would have in their crew human gunners or become gunners themselves... Just like in coops, pressing a button, say 'gunner vacancy', would show what positions on what planes are vacant and what ain't. Pressing 'make vacant' could reserve certain position(s) for human players and takeoff would be delayed until they all are occupied.
So, what you guys say?...
