Knew I shouldnt have done it !!!

Tried out these darned new DLL's (backed up originals) now IL2 keeps crashing to desktop at 60% ? I've replaced the originals still the same - even checked sound was set to 44KB etc the game will just not load past 60%.

All was OK till I tried the f'ing things - now totally screwed - any suggestions?

Also loaded new SpitMk1 with aircraft installer? Have v.93 soundmod - any relation to problem?

I hate that feeling too. :?

I'm not sure exactly how dll's work, but if they in some way affect the game's original gui buttons, it could be that conflict...between the game's and the mod's gui buttons. Read from about page 8 or 9 under the Spit Mk I thread.

Cheers mate - it is definitely the Spit MK1 installer - i've deleted the Spit folder in MODS and the game opens ok now!

I ran the AC Installer first as instructed but still ran into this problem ??

Ditched it now!
