Rivers and trees...
#1

How do i get my rivers to look anything like they should....there must be hundreds on my Thailand map, but at the moment even the mekong is just a few dots and dashes of puddles....... how have others done theirs.......by tracing over a map or what??? and which kind of map....from where?

and my landscape is entirely devoid of trees........ how can i lay down forests/jungle.....surely not just by adding 'woods' in the map tools FMB...??

and my load.ini is strange.....because I imagined it would lay textures depending upon the height of the landscape from the map_h.tga.......the lowest being Lowland0...then lowland1 (a bit higher) to lowland 3...then midland...then mount ..etc.......but I was getting city textures on my mountain tops and had to assign other textures to the city ones...(so now I have no city textures available at all..!!)

hehehe Rivers: free hand in Map_C, with a touch of editing in Map_H...

Textures... well, that is probably coming from having wrong RGB value'd pixels on your Map_T...

yup, when editing map_t .... make sure there is no blur what so ever .... use pencil tool ( crisp as can get) same goes for eraser .
