Quick and simple question, Unified Installer affect on DGEN?
#1

Hey everyone, new member and new to the wonderful game of IL-2. I have a quick question about the unified installer mod. Does this Mod include only aircraft that were not flyable before but now made possible to fly? Does installing this effect 3rd party dynamic campaign generator such as EnjoyrPatch? I looked at the stickies but couldn't find anything. Also, for these Mods, where can one fly them? Only @ the mission builders and mulitplayer and not campaign? Thank you.

there are a couple of points I can help you on, The UI includes many aircraft not originally in the game along with those previously unflyable. If you are trying to decide to use it or not - I would highly recommend it  I haven't used the enjoyrpatch you mentioned, so I have no idea if it would be affected, but my guess would be no. There is a campaign generator called 'dcg' or 'dynamic campaign generator' which is adjustable to allow you to use the new aircraft - if that is of any help. Though I found adding the new aircraft a bit tricky to start with, there is a guide somewhere here on the site.

Congrats on having bought not only the best WWII flight sim... but probably the best game ever made... you made a wise choice Smile

UI does not affect dgen campaigns - they still will work. But with UI (Soundmod) you will be able to play more dgen campaigns which are using the new planes.

Yes BoxerRumble, EnjoyR patches for DGen are fully compatible with MODS found here, including the Unified Installer pack. No problem, on the contrary.
