Hey Guys,
I was flying in an F2, and F3F in the QMB and tried to drop down the gears. They wouldn't drop after I hit the gear key. I thought I just had to re-map the key stoke to the game, but when I did that they still wouldn't come down..Can some help me fix this? Is there a section in the game that controls the opening and closing of the gears in an .INI file or something of that sort? Any help would be appreciated.

Some plane gears need to be raised and lowered manually like I-16 and f4f.

Set keys in control panel, and remember they have to be tapped repeatedly to get
them to work (simulating cranking them up and down)

When planes with automatic landing gears fail do to damage, you can sometimes still
get them to go down manually

yes, you have to tap about 40 times to lower or raise the gear

Hey Thanks guys I didn't know that. No wonder no one really like to fly those planes, their fingers get blister just trying to raise and lower gear..
