I am wondering if any mods have been done to inflight chart/map? I find it a pain to zoom out to see where I am and the icons are big and ugly. Also the frame of the whole thing is boring. Maybe a transparency option or a visible overlay on the instrument panel near the compass.

There are mods here to get rid of the map frame, and others to add a compass rose, etc.,
Just use the search function.

as he said.......sometimes when our hands are full it is a pain to try and zoom

Is there a way to make the in-flight map size much bigger...maybe half the screen...... we generally only flick it on and off anyway....just as we would glance down at a map upon our lap
