Mission Builders, please help us....
#1

....who have all these great new maps, no clue on mission building and few or no missions to fly on them.

One of the real saviors of IL2, since it was released, were the guys who cranked out tons of missions, single, coop and campaigns to make up for the slim pickings released with the game and I really hope you guys will continue to make them available.

Thanks.

I'm working on it...

Here's a taste of an upcoming mini-campaign I'm working on.

I have an 80 mission campaign in the works... it's about three-quarters finished but I have to spend a while away from it on girlfriend's orders. It should see a release in the next month or two.

bump!
great stuff to come. hoping for more!
I second that what kept IL2 alive for so long is the stream of new adventures.

Thanks , Huxley_S, we looking forward to your releases and there are new missions appearing daily almost so we are getting to use the new maps.

Dixiecapt, you are keeping quite busy, good, there can never be too much ACG or Slot action.

Missions in general and campaigns in particular take some time. As the maps are released, I think missions will follow a month or so later. I am working on a campaign for the Slot map that chronicles the role of the 67th fighter squadron, the Army P-39/P-400 pilots that served as part of the Cactus Air Force. It is primarily historical, with some compromises for playability's sake. I will start a thread for it in the Campaign section when I am a little closer and looking for some beta test help (2-4 weeks).
