Has anyone managed to do a guide to the sound settings in the main .conf file ??

I am having problems with my sound (I have onboard SoundMax digital) which has only recently begun? I have lost external sound behind my a/c completely, in cockpit is fine now (but hasnt been - it returned after fiddling with the sound set-up in IL2 Setup). Never had a problem till recently and currently have most on 'default' running thru DirectX, if I select my card (sensaura cards) this problem gets worse ??

I dont have surround sound just 2 speakers and a centre bass boost.

I was hoping there might be a hidden setting in .conf to try ??

Il2 take information about you sound system in Windows Configuration panel. You may select speaker configuration, and il2 will be use parameters from it.
