A progress update for my Thai campaign.



This is the latest background screen which replaces the one with the KI-43 because for the moment I am just going to do the Franco/Thai conflict. The shot portrays the artistic licence I have applied for mission two, a sort of diplomatic incident where RAF Buffaloes and Thai Hawks clash on the border. Well we can't have endless patrolling in a combat sim can we!



The skins are now more or less finished, here is the early scheme for the Hawk III.

The campaign is now at mission ten and due to the scarcity of information I don't think it will go to more than twelve, unless more information becomes available that is.

You are doing an amazing job from the ground up so to speak.
The skins look fantastic!!

I noticed at Flying Legends a Val was hacked in to a Mary. The wheel covers were cut out to show the tyres. If your interested in that skin its under the VAL skin heading.

If you want I am sure Fabian Fred and I could organize a monk to bless your campaign before you release it.

It's a shame that there is not a Thai language pack available. I hardly speak the language and I've lived in Thailand for 4 years now.

All of my Thai friends are teachers so they have a very busy life with little free time available to them.

Keeping a keen eye on future updates with your campaign.

Thanks for kind words KIRBY, I'll have a look at the skin you mention. The skin work has been holding the campaign up but now they are about done I can get on with building the missions. Unfortunately there is very little good information available so I don't think it will get further than twelve missions unless I cover the assault into the Shan States and beyond, but that will mean setting the Thais as a Blue force, or even the Japanese as Red, could get confusing me thinks.

My Thai campaign is now finished and available from Fabianfred's website in his New Thai map folder, http://www.4shared.com/dir/8350318/7400 ... i_map.html. It is titled Indochina campaign and consists of twelve missions dealing with the conflict with the Vichy French administration in Indochina during 1940/41. The campaign is a manual install as it contains files for the VP media skinmod which will overwrite some of your existing files in the skinmod and make new schemes the default ones. Also has a speech folder to add, see the readme.

Many thanks to Fabianfred for allowing me to upload the campaign to his site, usually I would upload at M4T but the site isn't recognising me.
