Merry Christmas all!!

Guys my question is this, is there any way of changing the default skins in IL2? I ask this because when i downloaded the 4.09 beta patch a lot of the default skins were changed and looked loads better that the orignal. Now that i have installed the modded 4.091m patch the default skins have gone back to the original crap ones. The 109-E4 is an example of how bad some of these original default skins are. Is there any way to change the default skins back to the ones from the original 4.09 beta whilst still using the modded version?

Take a look at that, it's the skin mod. It'll change the skins of static aircraft, and enables you to choos your own... but, I thought it'll also change the defult skin of the fying ones,.. (correct me if I'm wrong,..).

When I put the 409b skins in, and they are much better than the originals, I did it after installing mods and have the new ones showing.

It may be that the new modified file 'fb_3do20.SFS' that came with the 409 skins and enabled them was overwritten by the mod installation. Try placing it in the main folder again and see if that does it....
