The G.50 Freccia ("arrow") fighters were the first Italian low-wing monoplane fighters. Armed with German Daimler-Benz engines, these Italian fighters were maneuverable and dangerous in combat. They proved their worth during the Spanish Civil War and in North Africa. Guys the Fiat G.50 is a FIAT no a Machi. They are not so good and his actuation in Spain was short and not really important.
BTW Rata is the FASCIST name for the I-16, republican name was Mosca, a corruption of the word Mockba appearing in the boxes

Yeah, you guys are talking about the Fiat G.50, not the Macchi MC.200.

The 200 has blisters on the engine cowling and the 50 has a large hump where the cockpit sits.
