Using G25 Steering Wheel for Force Feedback in IL2
#1

Hi guys
Just thought I'd share this little tip I worked out, if you have/use a Logitech G25 wheel.
Its a bit of a DIY setup - no specific instructions, but I've mounted my joystick on top of the wheel, held in place with clamps.
Basically, the force feedback moves from the wheel to the stick, and its a much more realistic effect than having the feedback come straight from the stick.
Just thought I'd share that with anyone who is looking for an extra use for their steering wheel...

Ahh you one of the G25 club.

But on the other side you wasting such a good wheel doing that.
Anyways, pics are necessary.

Yep, the single most expensive gaming accessory i've got so far... Confusedhock:
Problem is, i spend a whole lot more time with IL2 than my racing games, so i'm actually making more use of it than i would otherwise.
I simply unclip the clamps, remove the stick, lower the wheel, and VROOOMMM.... 8) 8) 8)
I'll try and get a pic together soon - camera's on the blink now...
