PRS files
#1

I'm wondering if someone can explain the .prs files and what the setting are for. Like what increases/decreases sound level, when/how are file commands used and for what? Or if there already is a tutorial on the subject can someone point it out? TY...

Same here. I know that [slp] will change the loudness of the samples that is connected to the PRS file.

the [samples] line shows you what those .wav files are that are connected.

I'm currently having issues balancing engine sounds. Whilst the SPL does increase volume, it also changes the distance at which the sound is heard ingame. So sometimes it is not preferable to touch it. Even when altering the samples manually, I still find certain aircraft are louder i.e. Bf-109.

The minlo-minhi-maxlo-maxhi are related to the rpm values in which the sound fades in. Infinite 1 means the sound will loop, env is related to the acoustic preset file and controls determines what factor (speed or rpm) causes the change.

I still don't know what value or pmin/pmax does
