So I was flying a mission today when I was shot. Not just the plane, but the pilot as well; which led me to this idea/question.

Would it be possible to do a blood splatter on the inside of the windshield when the pilot is injured or killed?

I know that a similar thing, the oil running up the sides of the screen after the engine has been hit, have been done. If this is possible to do, awesome; if not, then oh well.

I think the highgore line in the conf.ini does that.

High gore =2 in the Conf.ini in Program files/ubisoft/il 2 1946, and to make it more realistic use the blood gore mod by PeterD.

Im work in a pilot blood mod using a new pilot dead mesh, when the pilot dies blood splat int the flight suit. Saturday aim go to post screenshoot.

Hey, I had the understanding that high-gore or blood setting ONLY applied to a small handful of aircraft.
I believe less than a dozen, and they are mostly from Oleg's original IL2 release in the early 2000's...

Is their a mod aimed for making blood (high-gore) for all aircraft, or more than what we have anyways???

i was under the impression that the blood splats came from a few mods for a few aircraft and that highgore=1 (what does highgore=2 do?) made the pilots slump when killed.

Really now? Well, this should be swell....

It's a bit of an irk of mine that only a handful of aircraft had this effect (Original Il2)...

It will be great to see ALL aircraft with this mod, well, atleast MOST anyways...
