'Mix' trails ...on auto-mix plane!
#1

Can someone help me fix this problem?
I see nothing wrong in my own game but last night while playing a coop another player told me to check my mix... except that I was flying a 109 with auto mix! So I guessed that the problem may be some mod and asked him to get some screenhots.

In the last image on the bottom you can see my MODS directory. Dont mind the Gnome file browser, the shot was taken on my Linux dektop but when I play games I run Windows XP 32bit. The screenhots were taken by the guy who hosted the coop. I also asked other players whether they saw the smoke trails, some did and some didnt.

The problem is purely aesthetic, anyway. Everything worked fine except for the mix-like smoke trails that shouldnt be there.
We were playing on 4.09 beta on the Slovakia map
Any help appreciated.

Yes it's a Linux dektop, but I run Windows XP 32 when I play games

It is usually a conflict with the Mistel mod which causes this. You can't see it but others can. This can also happen with the hurricane opening cockpit mod as well. There may be a fix at SAS

sounds like you have a 109 mod which the other guy doesn't have, for example if your canopy opens in a 109 and his doesn't stuff like that happens. I get that on people in a Spitfire MkI with openable canopy because my version is newer than theirs etc... Something like that will cause it.

This "purely aesthetic" problem could hinder you in battle though..
Easy to find you, and easy to keep tabs on you if you're the enemy.

Mods.. What a headache.
