Just purchased 1946, but in order to play I need to have a couple of axes on my controller inverted. I can't find any options for it in-game, in conf.ini or via the JoyControl application, the guides I've read left me none the wiser and I've spent hours googling without success. This is such a basic issue that I guess the answer is right beneath my nose, but I can't find it. I'm getting desperate here, please help!
how do you mean that?
push the stick right and the plane goes left?
There is an issue causing them to work that way from the beginning. I do want my plane to go left when I push the stick left, but the opposite happens. Hence, I need to have the axis inverted.

What stick do you have? Lets start there first. :?: :?: :?:
What OS ?
try to set the hotas controls in the game menu
i have just tested my joystick ...
- selected controls in main menu
- went all the way down
- selected alieron controls and pushed the stick to the LEFT and confirmed the selection
- started qmb and the plane went RIGHT when pushing the stick LEFT
So my settings are as follows:
- power - U axis
- alieron x axis
- rudder z axis rotations
- elevator y axis
This really only depends upon which direction you push the control when you're assigning it in the IL-2 HOTAS control section. Depending upon which direction you push the control, the game will display either "X Axis ID#" or "-X Axis ID#", as far as I remember.
Oh. I suspected as much since the axes had different affixes, but figured it couldn't be that stupid.
Thanks, btw! I might eventually have had to break something if this didn't work out.
I am using windows 7 profesional (final edition) 32 bit and logitech wingman extreme digital 3d
