I just played a mission on the El Alamein map which I just got restored thanks to some wonderful advice from Viking to whom I am very grateful, and that got me interested in the fact that the first numbers on the RAF planes actually are always RS.

Can that be changed and can they be moved or deleted entirely?

Was there a post on this before? If so, I apologize. I tried searches and could not find anything.

The simple way to change the letters is to change the squadron. One of them, 403 Sqn has no codes so you dont get the first two letters, just the last letter which is set by your number on the marking selection screen. This works for the RAF anyway.
