I seem to be having a screen resolution error.Whenever IL-2 starts,the desktop icons are superimposed on top of the splash screen.
The game starts with them showing and the cursor is frozen.Upon hitting the Windows button the game minimizes and can then be
started from the task bar.From there everything is normal.This started after a system restore.
Can anyone help me rectify this?
Running UI 1.2 on Vista.

Welcome to the world of the "frozen mouse".

The problem as far as I can tell is due to the large size of the UI 1.2 with all the uncompressed mods. It does not happen to my stock game (some people even have it with this version too), it does not happen with my UI 1.1 game, nor with my HSFX 4.0 (mod files are compressed into .SFS files), but it happens the first time, everytime I first play UI 1.2. After the first time it does this, UI 1.2 playes normal until I reboot and then it "freezes" the first time again.

I think when the UI 1.2.5 is released with a lot of files compressed into .SFS files, this problem should hopefuuly go away.
