Hello all

Did an install of IL2

Added 4.08

Made a Copy of the folder and named it IL2 Mod

Installed Installer 1.1 then Installer 1.2 ( Into the IL2 Mod folder )

Installed Hyper lobby

Ran Hyper Lobby

Now when i connect to a Hyper lobby game it runs my original 4.08 game not the 4.08 Mod game

Need to know a way to make Hyper lobby point to the Mod version of the game.

Easy,

Open HL

Hold the shift +ctrl keys and click on connect

In the window that comes up type or search for the version of the game you want to start

When typed or found hit "save"

Connect to HL normally

Easier way is to just have one il2 with UI and then use version switcher before playing.

Now i need to find a server that actually is compatable with 1.2...


Oh and another little irritant is when i switch and open 4.09m version and i want to play a career just for fun it is all in Russian. Does anyone know a quick way to get it to Change to English when in career mode?

Maybe that smile was a bit premature

I tried to connect to Spits_vs_109 and got the message

(CRT=2 Failed) Timeout 1

So what have i failed to do? Anyone know what this code means?

It is supposed to mean that you have something not compatible with clean U.I. 1.2 install. Have you changed or added anything?

I was able to connect to Spits_vs_109s_Mod, but I had to disable the F-86 and MiG-15 that I had added.

Oh, here's another suggestion that may help with CRT=2 pass...

If you got any CRC error when installing U.I. 1.2 (even a single one) this may have prevented insert.bat from running after the install. If you go to the game folder, you can run insert.bat manually. It adds the new maps and does some cleanup, and may then allow you to pass CRT=2

I did a winrar check on my download of 1.2 and found 3 corrupted files in them

2 planes P38F and P51D 25na

Also the Doc BurmaLower readme pdf


I asked a question in another thread if i needed to delete the files from 1.2 or do a full download again of the updater. It would be good if i could just get clean versions of the 3 corrupted files and just paste them over the corrupted ones.

Madstarrrr try the TORRENT D\ L most find that it works better with no
Corrupt files.

Well, I've been having the CRT=2 problem. All my files have checked out OK in the rar test.

I tried following the suggestion of manually running insert.bat on the game folder, but I simply couldn't find the file.

Anyone has any other suggestions?

Same here - all files within the installer pass the RAR test, I get the RCT=2 error, and I can't find insert.bat file inside the game folder. I am out of ideas. I reinstalled 1.2 three times already.
