hey guys
how or, were can i adjust the engine sound and radio chatter volume in the cockpit.
for me the engine sound is to loud in the cockpit.I can barely hear the radio chatter specially with the headset on.
and without the headset me wife starts to complain when she's watching her favorite soap.

You can use a wav edtittor to lower the sounds that are too loud but believe me, it's a pain if you're not used to that.
I think you better try to go to your sound setup and disable extentions.

can this be done in the conf.ini also
under [sound]
or is this not the way to do it?

I honestly don't know, I know that when you change to extentions off, something changes in your confini.
If it would be possible to edit sounds that way, I think you'll need a lot of experience.
What you can do also, is change the PLS value in your prs files

patrick, judging from your post, I would think you can get the result you want via the regular ingame sound settings:



On this menu screen you can adjust the overall sound, engine sounds and radio voice sounds.
No need for any adjustments in conf.ini. :wink:

Alternative solution.

Kick youre tv out of the door so youre wife won't have to see the soaps!



and if you REALLY like the engine sound then buy a 5.1 surround set.
IT REALLY KICKS ASS!!
