Gentlemen,

First off, thanks to each of you for the Mods. I came back to IL2 afer a four year break and WOW! What a difference a mod makes.

Has anyone been able to modify the 'look' at 20000 and above as far as the 'mist' is concerned? Not the contrails, but the 'mist' effect.

I have a bit of time at the flight levels and don't recall anything but fairly clear vis depending on the weather fronts.

Just a limitation of the game engine :-? It was designed around a plane that would not have had to go over 3000 meters, so high altitude is not well modeled visually. I believe in Perfect mode with 4.09 the max visibility is increased from 36 km to 72 which may help reduce the fog effect.
