yes, this would be a great addition to forgotten countries, also how about a East Germany? and if i may use your thread to ask this, how can i change the markings for the included West Germany?

uhm... the forgotten countries mod brings US and GB as blue additions, GDR is in there red.

so every scenario should work.

we have east germany in forgotten countries. you know, the DDR, i think its called in english The German Democratic Repuplic.

Unfortunately the DDR uses the same markings as the Luftwaffe in game, it would be superb if they had a set of proper maltese crosses and no swastika.

in my game, forgotten nations GDR does have the proper black-red-gold squares (though not allways positioned correctly due to game limitations)

No German Air Force has ever used a Maltese Cross (actually - the Cross of the Knights Hospitaller Order of St. John):




What they use(d) is the Iron Cross. It was in use during WW1 and after WW2 in Federal Republic of Germany FRG aka BRD aka West Germany:
