Howdy All,
Does anyone know/have any experience with this OS and the MSFFB Joystick? I have heard that it has an XP32 mode?
My gaming rig just died (motherboard and C: drive) I was running XP32 (Upgrade version) and have rebuilt my system with all SATA drives.....I guess, my mistake in the SATA department?
It is very important to me to retain my MSFFB.....what can I do? What should I do? What would you do?
Many Thanx,
NGW-Sancho......
Recall some had issues with MSFFB stick when they introduced Vista. Maybe some posts on UbiZoo with a fix.
Dear friend
I have a MSFFB 2 and also 7 Ultimate. It works fine. My "personnal"opinion is that this joystick is the best for this game and I tried a lot. Using a hotas, without a FFB, for me is totally unrealistic.
Of course the Microsoft software doesn't work. All you have to do is plug and play after having adjusted the "Input hardware settings". You can also find on the net different FFB for the gun, punch shake and so on located in the ForceFeedback file of your game.
Best regards
Jeff Costello
MSFFB2 works perfect on win 7 x64 or x86
no issues what so ever.
hi,
msffb2 works fine with wind7 but not the "sidewinder game controller software 4". When I click on msFFB2 property I read "error" and software closes.
Howdy All,
I just wanted to end this thread with the following info:
I installed Win 7 Pro 64 bit....and all is well with the MSFFB II stick.....and I could not be happier...
Thank You All and I hope this info helps others.....Merry Christmas
Su Amigo,
Sancho........
Hi Sancho.
I've just ordered one of these.
Got it for
Howdy cjramze,
The stick forces were linear for the x and y axis's....I use rudder pedals (Saitek)...so don't know about the rudder axis....
I have not had the time to adjust the stick properties...I have been told on authority of those more experienced that the original drivers/software will not function with 64 bit Operating Systems...
I think/believe that enough adjustment for that is available in the Il-2 1946 set up in the game....
I did nothing special to "activate/install" the stick...just plugged it in and went flyiing...I am more than satisfied with the results....oh, and all the buttons function along with throttle....
I would definitely do all of this again...and will be on the lookout for a back up MSFFB2 stick.....
I hope this was of some help to you...and apologize for not being able to be more technical in my reply.
Su Amigo,
Sancho......
