Hey all,
I've posted before about creating new aircraft. I've got a lot of experience with solid modeling, although none with 3D-Max. Mostly with Pro-Engineer & Solid-works due to my engineering background. One of my hobbies is modeling military vehicles (land, Air & sea) on such programs. Anyway, can anyone tell me what format must be used to create models for IL-2? Could IGES files be of any use? Perhaps an IGES file could be loaded into 3D-Max and then exported as (whatever IL-2 format is)??
I'm sure it's much more complicated than that, but I figured I'd ask anyways.

And BTW, can someone please tell be how to attach pictures [from my PC] to my messages?

Upload to a photosharing site such as Image Shack, Photo Bucket, or Flickr. It will give you a direct link. You copy and paste that link into the message, highlight it, and press the image, Img, button at the top of the screen.
