And Now For Something Completely Different
#1

Leafing through a book on WW2 aeroplanes I came across a comparison between two rivals in air combat. One was the I-16, which we already have. The other was the Bristol Bulldog - yep, a 30's biplane - that fought head to head with the I-16 over the skies of Finland (and did quite well apparently!)

Now that would be an interesting addition to our wishlist of mods! Come to think of it, were any DH9's still flying in India? Some of these older and more obscure types would be great for early war scenarios. Just a thought.

Well, actually, "early war" would be a bit misleading for the Bulldog. Bristol Bulldogs served right up until 1944 in the Finnish continuation war.

She'd make a great addition to the game, but no rush...
There's PLENTY goodies in the pipeline that are more necessary...

Yes - Bristol Bulldogs , Hawker Hinds, Harts & Furies would be nice Big Grin

I read somewhere that some RAF squadrons were flying their Harts right up until they started receiving their new Spitfires in 1939.

Hawkers Big Grin

There's always the early model Avia B534 that looks like a Hawker Fury (w/o glass cockpit) available on the SAS site in the meantime.
