What kind of footage are you looking for? To-day, even youtube gets you some neat period documentaries, gun-camera footage, and period newsreels (Try 'die Deutsche Wochenschau'). If you need higher quality footage, it can get more complicated. Maybe someone else knows more on high-quality footage?
