I've just finished a fresh install of IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 and have installed the "ubi-fix", HFSX 4.0 and 4.1 and 4.11 fix over a 4.09m patch, and after making sure the game ran properly, I found that when I try to save a mission file, it won't actually save the map at all, or let me play it. If there is no map in full mission builder, it will let me go to the briefing screen, but the file will not save or be playable once a map has been loaded, only the name of the save file will appear. I'm not sure that anyone has ever encountered this problem, but any knowledge you guys may have would be a huge help.

If you have "zuti" enabled, you must make at least one, it can be simple, change in the zuti control panel while in the FMB before it will save. If you turn "zuti" mod off they will save just like normal.

Thank you for your help! No, i do not have the Zuti mod turned on, but it still maintains the same problem. I'll try reinstalling everything again. It might just be a windows 7 setting I've got or a registery virus, so I will continue to see what I can do. If the problem persists, I might as well switch to the Unified Installer
