Graphics issue - missing parts of airframe
#1

Hi,

I've had some graphics issues since i went to HSFX4.1 back in Jan and they are now finally starting to bug me enough to see if i can find a way to fix them. Here's a summary

1. Some aircraft (Buffalo, Hurri, Ju87, Ju88 etc) dont show canopy rails and a few other airframe structures like aerials normally. But when the guns are fired the flash seems to illuminate these structures and they show normally.

2. When sitting in aircraft on the ground at an airfield not all ground structures show up until i move the view direction ever so slightly in azimuth and then they appear. if i move a bit further in azimuth they then dissapear

3. Sometime problem 1 is fixed when the aircraft is damaged (ie all the right airframe stuff shows up after suffering damage). And sometimes when an aircraft, that is showing up properly, is damaged, parts of the airframe become invisible.

Ive got an NVIDIA G07900 with the 8.4.2.9 driver.

Has anyone else got this problem or had the problem and fixed it?

Thanks

Ezzie

If you could post some screenshots people might know exactly what the problem is.

You could open a photobucket account (www.photobucket.com), it's free. Upload your images to there and copy and paste the forum image code photobucket gives you for each image into a post here.

For anyone out there that is having the same issue - i stumbled across a thread over at SAS that talked about this problem and recommended re-installing the .dlls using ones from an install that doesnt have the graphics issue (I'm not sure exactly what these are or do but they are graphics related it seems). So i did as suggested and problem went away.
