hi, i recently posted something about the me 321 and 323, well i downloaded the mods, and then, almost all hsfx planes disapeared!!!! can anyone help me please? thanks in advance!

Did they have auto-installers? If they did, than it is good policy to install to a desktop folder, and install manually.

sometimes the best way to fix a problem is to know how it got started and to give u the answer we need answers from you...

ok, i downloaded hsfx 4.0 then 4.1 worked AWESOME everything was there, then i wanted an me 323, and i used the auto installer (MISTAKE) and now, all, every single last HSFX plane is gone, i checked air.ini those planes are gone. so either i can get an air.ini including all the hsfx planes and the 323 and 321, or someone can tell me another way to fix it

ok what u need to understand is that people cant help right away...... one time it took 3 days for me to get the right answer normaly it doesnt take that long but sometimes it does....patiance...... maybe im uploading the air.ini right now which takes a while....i dont have a fast computar so i sugest you calm down.... and relax im trying to help u

no problem it might be a while though im on my mac as my comp is down and cant find il2 on my external hard-drive so i will try and get it to u asap

If you still have the 4.0 download files, open it in WinRAR (not extract or run, just OPEN), find the air.ini and fish it out, replace the one in your pooched game. Then read up on installing Mods manually.

I to have ADD, and when dealing with a person in the moment, yes it is that way. But here on the internet you do not have to send it out, it will only cause problems. Don't expect an answer that will help for at least 24 hours. If after 24 hours there is no helpful answer, ask again, politely (not saying you weren't). Patience and the use of sugar helps more in getting help.

I'm going to try to download 4.11 and see if that may fix the problem, because it should contain the air.ini, right?

Yes, it has an air.ini in Files folder.

Hi,

I am not an expert on this matter but might help.

In some situations, the user is supposed to have all mods deactivated before installing certain things. Also, in the past, I have copied the air.ini to desktop before installing something and compared it to the copy remaining after the install. A couple times this helped me to learn what is missing from the air.ini which I need for something.


I hope this helps. Installing mods for me is a case by case basis because I often can't remember for certain how a type of mod is installed.

This is why I depend so much on good instructions to come with a mod.
